10-10-03 VOSA - Making Life Easier

The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency has introduced a new service for operators in Wales. This initiative gives heavy goods vehicle and public service vehicle operators in Wales the opportunity to collect operator licensing forms for completion and/or to hand them in at Test Stations in Llantrisant and Wrexham as an alternative to contacting the Welsh Traffic Area Office in Birmingham.

Staff at both Test Stations will also be able to receive non cash payments for any licence related fees. All transactions received will be sent to the Welsh Traffic Area office in Birmingham for action.

The Welsh Traffic Area Office in Birmingham remains the contact point for general advice and guidance on operator licensing in Wales. This can be obtained by telephoning 0121 609 6842.

Alternatively, all operator licensing forms and guides can be obtained by visiting our website at www.vosa.gov.uk
