16-08-05 First Digital Tachograph Submitted For Interoperability Testing
Actia have formally submitted the first Digital Tachograph for interoperability testing to the European Commission’s Joint Research Center. The Company have recently passed the functional tests for digital tachograph (as defined by Appendix 9 of Annex 1B) and they have received the corresponding Functionality and Security Certificates for both the Vehicle unit and the motion sensor.
As outlined previous statements A decision on the possible revision to the implementation date for Digital Tachographs (Currently August 2004) is still awaited from the Commission.
