16-09-05 Electronic Test Booking System update
The new VOSA electronic test booking system went live in our test stations on 30 August. Many of our customers will already be aware that there have been teething troubles with this new IT system, which we and our IT partners Atos Origin have been working around the clock to resolve.
VOSA appreciates the patience its customers are showing and we apologise for the delays some of you are experiencing in being able to book test slots either at the counter in test stations or by phone.
Many of the problems we have experienced over the last two weeks have now been resolved.
There are sufficient test slots available over the coming weeks and months to enable us to continue to meet our target of slots being available within 15 days, and in most stations slots are available within 5 days.
This system is an important part of the work we are doing to improve customer service by offering the option of on-line test booking within the next few months. Customers will be able to go on-line whenever they want, see what is available and book a slot at the test station of their choice.
VOSA would like to thank you for your understanding through these teething problems and to assure you that a high standard of service will soon be restored.
