27-08-04 Birmingham Traffic Area Office Move

Between 3 to 5 September the staff at the Birmingham Traffic Area office in Cumberland House are to move to 38 George Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B15 1PL. The move is planned for the weekend so no disruption will be caused to our customers.

The Welsh and West Midlands Traffic Area Office has been located in Cumberland House since 1966 . The move has been planned to coincide with the expiry of the current lease and the area’s team of over 40 members of staff who provide support for the Traffic Commissioner and maintain over 18,000 Goods Licences and 1,300 PSV Licences are happy to be moving to a recently refitted building in the leafy suburbs of Edgbaston.

All Operators have been informed by letter of the new location and the move is expected to go smoothly. Telephone numbers will remain the same.
