07-11-06 Euro Bus Expo opens today
A brand new European show opening today (7th November) at the Birmingham NEC is providing a platform for hundreds of manufacturers to introduce their latest products. Secretary of State for Transport Rt. Hon Douglas Alexander will open the UK-based Euro Bus Expo, accommodating over 300 manufacturers and suppliers from around the world.
VOSA, along with DVLA, DSA and VCA, will be demonstrating the use of digital tachographs on a joint Government stand. The agencies will also be promoting the Driver CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence), European Community Whole Type Approval (ECWVTA) scheme and vehicle taxing online, and answering any other queires.
